Instagram Expands Its Reach With Instants App
Instagram is adding a new app called “Instants” It lets you log in with your Instagram account and open to the camera. You can send those moments to your friends and, after 24 hours, the photos disappear (Yes - like Snapchat)
Google Invests Big In Anthropic
Google has reportedly committed to a massive investment in the AI space, funneling an initial $10 billion into the company behind the popular AI model Claude. Google will fork out that $30 billion only if the AI startup hits certain performance targets. The news of this investment comes just days after Anthropic and Amazon rewrote their own partnership with a new ten-year, $100 billion AI infrastructure deal.
Ubuntu 26.04 LTS Release
The 11th long-term support release of Ubuntu has just been made available for public consumption. This version is Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, codenamed Resolute Raccoon, and it will get standard support until 2031 and extended support up to 2036. It also means that Ubuntu has completed its shift to Wayland which gives users smoother visuals.
