Nothing is back with two new smartphones, the entry-level Phone 4a and the mid-range Phone 4A Pro. The main upgrades are centered around the cameras, marking a major improvement over what the Phone 3a last year. A new tetraprism periscope telephoto camera extends to up to 3.5x optical zoom.
BYD Unveils Ultra-fast Charging Battery Pack
Chinese automaker BYD unveiled a new battery pack Thursday that the company says is capable of charging from 10% to 70% in five minutes. The battery pack, known as the Blade Battery 2.0 system, is slated to debut in the Yangwang U7, a full-size luxury sedan. Even in bitter cold weather, the pack can charge from 20% to 97% in under 12 minutes, according to BYD.
Microsoft's Next-gen Xbox Console, Project Helix
Microsoft has officially confirmed the codename for its next-generation Xbox console, called Project Helix. The company is framing it less like a traditional console and more like a hybrid gaming PC. Sony appears to be betting on exclusivity again, while Microsoft is experimenting with freedom.
