#OpenAI - After the gossip about OpenAI intending to show Ads in ChatGPT, users started reported seeing cards related to Shopping and called it out. OpenAI had to clarify that what they were seeing weren’t Ads but an “App Integration” - specific wrappers around ChatGPT that deal with niche topics.

Starlink Enters Indian Market With ₹8,600 Monthly Plan
Starlink India now lists a monthly subscription fee of ₹8,600 (250 Mbps) for its Residential tier. The service promises unlimited data, a 30-day trial, and 99.9% uptime. The company received a five-year licence from India’s Department of Telecommunications in July.
IBM Seeks To Acquire Confluent
IBM is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire the data infrastructure company Confluent. The acquisition value is reported to be $11 billion and will help the big tech stalwart, IBM, boost its cloud services push. Confluent is an open-source platform that is used to process massive streams of real-time data.
