#FireTVStick - Amazon says it is blocking apps that allow users to illegally stream content on its Fire TV Stick. The clampdown will apply to both new and old devices.

#FakeItTillTheyMakeIt - A billion dollar note taking AI startup just confessed that in the initial days, they didn’t have an “AI” taking notes but instead, they themselves would sit through their client’s meetings, pretending to be AI, and take notes. Apparently, they wanted to be sure there was a “market fit” before they actually created the product. The worst part - their “clients” didn’t know about this. Privacy risk? Damn right!

#DivineApp - Millennials, gather up. If you recollect, before TikTok or Reels, there was Twitter’s Vine. 6 second videos that had millions of users before Twitter decided to sunset it (And TikTok then started taking the market). Well, Jack Dorsey, former CEO / owner of Twitter just decided to bring it back from the grave. Named “De-Vine”, it includes an actual backup of Vine's video archive, restored from files saved by volunteer archivists. Original Vine creators can reclaim their accounts by verifying ownership through social media accounts.
