Halfway through the week - happy Wednesday!

Geek Gossip

#AppleSourceCode - Inspect it before they fix it - Apple’s web store has their minification sourcemap deployed to production, allowing anybody to check out their source code. It appears they use Svelte to write it - QUICK - check it out before it’s gone. (Not a security problem as such - just a minor goof-up).

#TechYouTuber - A tech YouTuber is besides themselves after YouTube’s bots decided that their 9 year old YouTube channel with over 350K subscribers violated their community guidelines (which the owner claims they did not). It’s more frustrating because they got striked by a bot with no recourse for human intervention.

#AppleTV - Here’s a sneakpeak at the new Apple TV Logo - and their new intro sound.

Your URL Is Your State
Forget about Redux or Zustand for a second. URLs make web applications resilient and predictable. They’re the web’s original state management solution, and they’ve been working reliably since 1991. URLs aren’t just technical addresses that browsers use to fetch resources. They are interfaces and part of the user experience.
