CoinDCX, India's second largest crypto exchange, suffered a cyberattack on July 19, losing approximately $44.2 million from an internal operational account used for liquidity provisioning. The breach has been contained, and customer funds remain safe, according to the company's CEO Sumit Gupta.

Wipro Fined Rs 2 Lakh For Defamatory Termination Letter
Wipro, an Indian multinational IT consulting and business process services company, has been ordered to pay Rs 2 lakh in damages to a former employee whose termination letter contained unsubstantiated and defamatory remarks about their conduct. The Delhi High Court ruled that employers cannot include damaging statements without evidence, affirming the employee's right to reputation under Article 21.

Npm Libraries Hijacked Through Phishing Attack
Popular JavaScript libraries eslint-config-prettier and eslint-plugin-prettier were compromised after their maintainer fell victim to a phishing attack, allowing attackers to publish malicious versions with malware that infects Windows machines.
