Record-breaking 7.3 Tbps Ddos Attack Mitigated By Cloudflare
Cloudflare is a cybersecurity giant that specializes in protecting websites and networks from cyber threats. A DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack is when hackers flood a website with traffic to overwhelm its servers. Today, Cloudflare reported that it stopped the largest DDoS attack ever recorded, which peaked at 7.3 Tbps and targeted a hosting provider. The attack was 12% larger than the previous record and was launched from 122,145 IP addresses across 161 countries.
